I Am Here Lord
I am here Lord,
Show me what I can do for You,
Whisper the need I can fill for You,
Take me where You want me to go.

I'll tell them, Lord,
Of Your healing power,
I'll tell them, Lord,
Of Your never-ending Love,

I am here Lord,
Show me what I can do for You,
Whisper the need I can fill for You,
Take me where You want me to go.

I'll tell them Lord,
The stories of old,
I'll tell them Lord,
That You always hold the keys to life.
All we need do,
Is ask for Your wisdom,
Seek and we'll find,
The peace inside,

That only You can birth,

That only You can sustain....

I am here, Lord,
Show me what I can do for You,
Whisper the need I can fill for You,
Take me where You want me to go.

God has been so good to me and I want to share this song He moved me to write. We, as Christians need to rise to the occasion and answer His call to invade all territories in His name. We are to go into ALL areas of entertainment, and raise up His standard for others. The sermon observed, is much stronger than a sermon preached, and by our example, we can bring light into dark places.

He longs for us to step out in faith, and trust Him to lead and fill our mouths with what He wants us to say. He loves everyone and desires that none perish, but His children are perishing for lack of vision and understanding. Man will believe and worship something, himself, his car, his wife, or his job; we must show them the better alternative. God is just waiting for us to talk to Him and ask for His help in everything we do.

Diary Of A Bible
JANUARY: A busy time for me. Most of the family decided to read me through this year. They kept me busy for the first two weeks, but they have forgotten me now.

FEBRUARY: Clean-up time. I was dusted yesterday and put in my place. My owner did use me for a few minutes last week. He had been in an argument and was looking up some references to prove he was right.

MARCH: Had a busy day first of the month. My owner was elected president of the PTA & used me to prepare a speech.

APRIL: Grandpa visited us this month. He kept me on his lap for an hour reading from 1 Peter 5:5-7. He seems to think more of me than do some people in my own household.

MAY: I have a few green stains on my pages. Some spring flowers were pressed in my pages.

JUNE: I look like a scrapbook. They have stuffed me full of newspaper clippings - one of the girls got married.

JULY: They put me in a suitcase today. I guess we are off on vacation. I wish I could stay home; I know I'll be closed up in this thing for at least two weeks.

AUGUST: Still in the suitcase.

SEPTEMBER: Back home at last and in my old familiar place. I have a lot of company. Two women's magazines and four comic books are stacked on top of me. I wish I could be read as much as they are.

OCTOBER: They read me a little bit today. One of them is very sick. Right now I am sitting in the center of the coffee table. I think the Pastor is coming by for a visit.

NOVEMBER: Back in my old place. Somebody asked today if I were a scrapbook.

DECEMBER: The family is busy getting ready for the holidays. I guess I'll be covered up under wrapping paper & packages again...just as I am every Christmas.

The Bride's Song
(superscript: "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it") Isaiah 55:10-11

Below is a song that was written by my wife Karren at a point when the Lord did something very special for both her and I and that was to reveal Himself to us in the fullness of His Grace. The circumstances of this experience I will share separately under a message titled 'The Lord's Revelation'.

Well here is the beautiful song - Which I like to call 'The Bride's Song' though this is not the title of the song. I call it this for we are the Bride of Christ and we sing songs of praise to our Groom because of what he has done for us. I feel especially touched as this was written by my bride at a time that the Lord brought 'death unto life' for me and in so doing also brought life her:

Sing Unto the Lord - A song to the Lord
I sing to the Lord
With praises in my heart
I sing to the Lord
With joy just like the lark
For the Lord he has been good to me
The Lord my God has set me free
And so I want to sing, Unto the Lord.

I shout to the Lord
A joyful noise of love
I shout to the Lord
For there is none above
His majesty and throne of grace
The light and beauty of His face
And so I want to shout, Unto the Lord.

I dance to the Lord
With gladness in my feet
I dance to the Lord
Who drives and sets the beat
My heart in tune with your will Lord
In step with all your plans my God
And so I want to dance, Unto the Lord.
