Motto: "...be ye reconciled to God (2 Cor. 5:20b)"

The Christ Ambassadors Students' Out-Reach,
otherwise referred to as CASOR, University of Lagos Chapter,
resolves to live in peace, unity and harmony as the students evangelical arm of the Assemblies of God Nigeria;
in order to propagate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. We believe the bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritaive word of God.

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life. In His miracles, in His bodily ressurection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule thousand years.

4. We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming.

5. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

6. We believe that the regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

7. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

8. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is given to the believers who ask for it.

9. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the christian is enabled to live a holy life.

10. We believe in the ressurection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
A Tribute to the Bible
The Bible is not an amulet, a charm, a fetish or a book that will work wonders by its very presence. It is a book that will work wonders in every life, here and hereafter, if acted upon and obeyed in faith and sincerity. It is God's inspired revelation of the origin and destiny of all things, written in the simplest human language possible so that the most unlearned can understand and obey its teachings. It is self-interpreting and covers every subject of human knowledge and need now and forever.

As a literary composition, the Bible is the most remarkable book ever made. It is a divine library of 66 books, some of considerable size, and others no larger than a tract. These books include various forms of literature - history, biography, poetry, proverbial sayings, hymns, letters, directions for elaborate ritualistic worship, laws, parables, riddles, allegories, prophecy, drama, and others. They embrace all manner of literary styles in human expression.

It is the book that reveals the mind of God, the state of man, the way of Salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are Holy, its precepts binding, its histories true, and its decisions immutable.

Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. The Bible contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christians charter. Here heaven is opened, and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject; our good is its design, and the Glory of God its end. It should fill your memory, rule your heart, and guide your feet in true righteousness and true holiness.

Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully, meditatively, searchingly, devotionally, and study it constantly, perseveringly, and industriously. Read it through and through until it becomes a part of your being and generates faith that will move mountains.

The Bible is a mine of wealth, the source of health, and a world of pleasure. It is given to you in this life, will be opened at the judgment, and will stand forever. It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the least to the greatest of labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.

A New Thing
God is up to something good..... I thank Him that I have stood

For what I knew to be right.... I thank Him that I did not loose sight

Of what the real focus in my life should be.... It should not have ever been centered around just me

Today, my focus is on God above.... I thank Him for giving me unconditional love

Love that I can now freely give to others.... I have a chance to share with so many of my sisters and brothers

About the goodness of the LORD each and every day.... I am often left without anything to say

Except about how good He has been to me over and over again.... I know the outcome, and that is that I win

God is doing a new thing today.... I thank Him each time I pray

For all He has done for me.... I thank Him for setting me free

I thank God for his marvelous light.... I thank God I no longer have to fight... The battle is not ours says the LORD

Continue to let Him have his way.... He blesses us each and every day

He wants to do a new thing in each of us.... Us who say it is Him that we trust

LEAVING A MARK BEHIND
Not in the number of days
That I might start to count
Not in the number of years
That I might long to live
But that the life that I live
Whether long or short
Be of great influence
To those whose paths had crossed mine
That might they look back into their yesterday
Let the love that I share
And the contributions that I make
Remain as an indelible mark
Which time won't be able to erase
And like a fire that glows into their tomorrow
Which the winds of pain
And the pressures of their yesterday
Won't be able to quench
Of the several choices
Which life might tend to bring
This choice have I made
That I might "LEAVE A MARK BEHIND" .
